This page explains how to delete your account and data for Manekio Doc (Android package jp.manekio.post, published by Manekio).

Option 1: delete from within the app (recommended)

Open the app and go to Settings → Delete my data → confirm. Tapping "Delete" in the confirmation dialog triggers deletion immediately.

Option 2: request deletion by email

If you can't use the in-app option, email contact@manekio.jp from the email address associated with your account. Sending from that address is how we verify the request is yours.

What gets deleted

Either method triggers a full, server-side hard delete (no soft-delete or retention flag) of:

• Your account, including auth credentials
• Scanned document images
• AI reading results (document type, explanation, checklist, deadline)
• Deadline Vault entries
• Tags
• Document series (groupings)
• Your subscription record

This is a cascading delete across every related table — nothing is left behind.

About your subscription

Deleting your account and data does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription. If you have an active subscription, cancel it separately from the Subscriptions screen in Google Play — billing continues after account deletion until you cancel it there.

Data retention

Once a deletion request completes, none of the data listed above is retained.
